(An Excellent Anti Microbial, Anti Bacterial, Antiseptic & Anti Fungal Agent)

The Ayurvedic Pharmaceutical Co.Ltd. proudly presents ‘TEENSAL’ which has proved to be a rare & good antiseptic, anti bacterial & anti Micorbial agent in recent research. It is pale yellow in colour but gets darker if exposed to air for sometime.

Teensal was tested for antibacterial activity by a team of specialists including that of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi against freshly isolated human strains of Pseudomonas Pyocyanea. The suspectibility of hundred strains was tested by single disc method & compared with commonly used antibiotics. Ninety eight percent strains were found to be sensitive to Teensal as compared to the antibiotics Gentamycin Sulphate –99%, Colimycin –91% polimixin B Sulphate –91% & Streptomycin Sulphate –75% respectively.

The bacterial effect of the drug was observed with in 5 minutes. The antimicrobial agent has been used chemically as an antiseptic in the management of post-operative wound infection successfully.
‘TEENSAL’ is a non-toxic drug & effective against major pathogens which are not easily controlled by most antibiotics in burn wound.
Indications :

FOR BURNS: TEENSAL is very effective in burn wounds, It can be applied to burn wounds directly. When applied to raw wounds it does smart but smarting disappears after some times. If TEENSAL is applied to burn wounds over a layer of Vaseline gause, the smarting is much less as the drug diffuses in wound slowly and the dressing can be removed without injuring granulation tissue. It does not have any systematic toxicity and does not destroy the epithelium rather it saves the epithelium from destruction by pathogenic organisms and healing in superficial burns in rapid and perfect.

SKIN GRAFTING: The skin grafts healed well when wounds were dressed with TEENSAL immediately after grafting. TEENSAL has a prolonged action. Dressing are changed on alternative days and some time after longer intervals and yet there will be no smell and pus in the wounds.

BEDSORE: TEENSAL is quickly effective in bedsores caused by lying too long in bed due to sickness. For applying on bedsores it can be diluted in water in certain cases. It kills maggots on first application.

SKIN DISEASES: TEENSAL is an effective cure for skin diseases like Sores, Ringworms, Eczemas, fresh cuts and bruises, It can also cure local sores and Athelete foot etc. Soak the cotton in TEENSAL liquid, apply it gently on affected surface once or twice a day after cleaning the affected part. Apply bit of Vaseline to avoid irritation, if any.

TEENSAL can be used as throat paint. It cures bad throat, swollen and septic tonsils also.

IN DENTAL SURGERY: TEENSAL when used as Gum massage, cures Pyorrhoea and helps in prevention of Dental caries. 10 to 20 drops of TEENSAL diluted in a small quantity of water can be used as mouth wash for swollen, tender and readily bleeding gums. If no irritation is found, use of TEENSAL directly is recommended.

TEENSAL is non-poisonous drug and can be used as throat paint, massage on gums cure Pyorrhoea and prevents decay of gums and teeth. TEENSAL is effective in oral ulcer and septic tonsils.

IN VETERINARY: TEENSAL is effective in animal diseases caused by external skin infections or due to wounds. TEENSAL kills maggots even on first application in the wounds.
