1.Load the Pusher into the Injector piston from the Pusher Holder. |

5.Hold the cartridge wings together tightly to keep the loaded cartridge closed. |

2.Lubricate the inner surface of the Cartridge with a Viscoelastic. |
 |
6.Slide the cartridge into the opening of the Appa Injector till it sits properly in the slot. |

3.Take the Lens from the glass bottle with forceps. |
 |
7.Advance the piston firmly in smooth motion till it enters into the Cartridge. |
 |
4.Push the Lens down with the forceps between the bends of the wings and parallelly close the wings. |
 |
8.Insert the tip of the Cartridge through the incision. |
Note:
1.The lens should be injected within a minute or two after loading the lens because viscoelastic may lose its lubricity when exposed into air for long period. |
2.When loading the lens into the cartridge,make sure that thehaptics are not caught between the wings when they are closed. |
